I did mine, on the PayPal business site you can create a button for your site, took me a few goes but got there in the end.

Paypal is dead easy to setup - just login to your account, got to "Profile"  - "My selling tools" and click on "Create new button".

Go through the options & set it up but leave the amount to be paid blank - this will let your customer type in how much they owe.

You can use the "let your customer leave you a message" option for a "First line of your address & daytime contact number" line, making it easier to keep track of who's paid.

Once you're finished paypal will generate some code for you - just copy it & past it into your website & its done!


GoCardless is a much better option though in the long run as it puts you in control, and the transaction fees are a lot less.

GoCardless signup is free - it works of a variable direct debit system so once they authorise you the first time you can then debit their account after each clean & don't have to wait for them to get around to paying you - it drastically reduces the number of late payers if you push this method.

Hi Nat do you know what % GoCardless charge for every transaction?
My bank charge 35p for every Electronic payment i.e.: bank transfer.
And 90p for every cash payment

Good point i decided to ditch Paypal in order to gain more control over payments , Just need to get more people signed up still got about 1,500 payment cards left the ones later next year will push CG more as the only option
