Hoselock pole and hose connectors
« on: November 16, 2014, 04:02:02 pm »
I have been using Rectus 26 connectors for the last few years and happy with them - they are robust and generally dont leak. However sometimes find that they are temporamental when it comes to pushing them together to connect. I'm considering a change to hoselock but my concerns are over how they stand up to regular use - being bashed about over the ground when reeling in the hose and how reliable they are regarding leaking. Any thoughts?

I haven't used hozelock for many a year, in fact only when I first started and the system I used had hozelock fittings,  they lasted about 4 months before I became painfully aware that there must be better out there, they catch, snag and break all the time, plastic or brass, the size does not help either, too big and bulky.

I changed over to rectus 21 and as long as I buy quality (Parker hannifin) connectors they last a long time.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
