Q. for George users - at financial year end

When you come up to your year end do you print off your reports and file them for accounts purposes?

What exactly do you print off and file?

one of the reports you can print off is income forecast for the next 12 months ... 4 months etc from say todays date ......... you can also go backwards such as from 05.04.2013 to 04.04.2014 which will tell you everything that has been done.

also print off your debt list on your actual day of your year end as this figure comes off your top line before tax calculations as work unpaid is work not done  :)

this is what I do anyway

I print off a monthly income and expenses sheet. Also, at year end, I print a finance report ie from 06/04/2013 to 05/04/2014.

I'm quite anal with paperwork  ::)roll but my account loves it. I number every receipt/invoice and put the number into the reference on George..

I do an Earnings and Debts report for the whole accounting period, it shows each and every job plus payments and debts.
A Finance Report probably would be ok but I go the whole hog and print the lot off just incase it needs to be scrutinised.

I always do a finance report From April 6th to April 5th Gold. It gives every bit of info you need for your returns
