ive been using the red thermobore plus for the last few weeks and its excellent with hot water pumping through it.its a bit heavy though but im used to it now.reels in with ease using a redashe reel. ;)

hopefully itll last a good few years as it feels like quality hose. :)
price higher/work harder!

Mines off to the skip later. Lovely stuff when new but goes rock hard when you try to switch to cold. Maybe it's ok if you use hot all year round but I'll not be using it again.

Gardiners microbore is good stuff for cold water. I've just put a reel of Purefreedom Hi Viz 8mm on for the winter. Supposed to work up to 60 degrees. It seems very tough though not particularly flexible. I like the colour  ;D

You use hoselock reels like me don't you matt to be honest id stick with the hose we use. I had a boiler running with it all last year and year before I think it works really well. And if its TRUE the red stuff is bigger we would strugle to get a TRUE 100 Meters on our hoselocks. I was thinking about thermobore to and decided againts it
