kitchen cleaning
« on: October 27, 2014, 10:06:19 pm »
hello, as you can probably guess by my name, my main work is window cleaning.

but im looking to gather some information about commercial deep kitchen cleaning.

I have just done a kitchen clean, as a favour, not a paid job. Just in a domestic, you know pulling the cooker dryer washer etc out, and giving a good clean underneath.. also cleaning a fairly manky fridge. I fairly enjoyed it, and made a good job if I say so myself....

I know there is a lot more to think about in "proper" kitchen cleaning, such as cleaning cookers, hoods, extractr systems etc...

Is this section of cleaning something I can just "suck it & see" or is there a lot more to it? training courses required? more H&S stuff etc.. special cleaning "tanks" for grills etc.?

please, don't have a pop at me, im fairly "green" to this, but would be keen to "give it a go" and feel I am doing the right thing by asking about it at least, before decided to plung head first into a world unknown to me  ;D

thanks
