Advice on new pole
« on: October 18, 2014, 01:39:48 pm »
So iv'e finally got round to buying a new pole. (i currently use an slx-30) My current pole is old and worn plus the aquadaptor on it is nackered.
So i'm about to spruce up old pole with a smart clamp kit and new aquadaptor

I'm about to purchase a new slx-22 for most of my work and put my current slx-30 in semi retirement, only to be used for my highest/longest reach work
I'd just like to ask advice from you all before i click buy, to make sure i have everything i need. as to make sure when i receive it all in the post i dont need to order extras to get me up and running

Is there anyhing that's a commonly forgotten/overlooked part when buying?

Many thanks

George

Just get the pole pal and select which options you'd like from the menu, it's all about personal choice about which fitments or brush you want, I'd suggest trying a swivel goose neck, very handy for certain windows!

Ok. I might try one of those swivel goose necks. But do they make the brush feel too loose?

Spend a bit extra and get the lightest brush. Makes the working day that little bit easier!

Indeed. i like the sill brushes cos i don't need to adjust the angle to clean the sills

i agree i use an extreme every day but medium for first cleans, definatly makes any pole feel instantly lighter!!
as regards the swivel making the pole feel loose you an just tighten the swivel screw to however you want it.

8weekly

I'd go SLX 18.
