Quote from: markymark on October 13, 2014, 11:55:07 pmI started with a slx30 but bought a slx22 base section. The 30 gives you enough length to reach comfortably over a conny as I found the 22 just a bit too short - I was working at full stretch too much. Most of the time I drop the last couple of sections and stick the 22 base on for a lighter, more user-friendly pole. It's a cheap way of having two poles. Why an earth would you buy an extra section to replace a section that you already have , You just simply remove an add sections as and when needed , Thats what i do i use a 22ft for most of work no point over straining .

Stripping it down and cleaning it fully may free it up a good bit.http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/Telescopic%20Pole%20User%20Guide%202013%20-%20VII.pdf
