Thermobore?
« on: October 07, 2014, 07:25:26 pm »
I have a roll in my garage used it last winter then took it off in the spring as I switched the gas heater off. I cut a length off the roll to put on my backpack over the weekend ........ Its gone rock hard  :o
I was going to put the reel back on for the winter but I think it's heading for the skip. What's the new stuff like the thicker version better or worse?
Anyone else had theirs 'go off'?

hi dave as you know i blew up my thermobore orange hose back in feb due to too much pressure and heat!! ;D ;D

this autumn i have my settings right and the new red thermobore plus is fantastic.its a bit heavier than standard thermobore but its very managable despite having a few problems with it twisting last week.

its almost been a joy to work with the last few days!its great once its got hot water pumping through it.

expensive though.i think it was £90 including VAT but good strong hose for hot water use. ;)
price higher/work harder!

It's bound to be rock hard unless you have central heating in garage , it's a bit cooler now so it will be once used more so with hot water it will be fine worth trying anyway .

Good stuff when new - felt quite rubbery and worked with hot or cold. Temps are hardly low - I'm still in shorts!

Mine is almost 2yrs old and in temps lower than 12c it seems not to be so rubbery , still in shorts had 2 frosty mornings all ready first thing nearly put me gloves on .
