0800 to mobile - time lag
« on: September 25, 2014, 01:47:57 pm »
I've just changed to have my freephone go to the mobile. Unfortunately it's taking a minimum of 10 seconds from dialing the 0800 number to the mobile ringing.

Half of people will just give up before it connects >:(  Anyone else have this issue. Or can you recommend a similar service which doesn't do this?

Cheers

Owen

I don't I just put my home no and address down as it shows I have nothing to hide and creates trust .

I do have a another local no from Tamar com that works great and costs about £4 a month

I wasn't debating the merits of using an 0800 number. I could have been talking about any number. It's the lag when it diverts to my mobile that's the issue.
