Ive been asked to do a few soffit & fascia cleans but don't have the equipment, so Im looking to invest in something but I cant decide what? Whats the most efficient way to do it, has anyone used the x-jet or am I better off with a WFP or could I make do with an extendible pressure washing lance with a soap venture ?

X-jet is for applying chemicals, it won't be that effective for SFG cleaning.

The cheapest way to do these jobs is get a clx 22 and 30 meters of hose ask Alex to supply the correct fittings for the pole hose to connect to garden hose then use customers mains supply to wash down

Hi Darran is there any way to use chemicals with that set up ? Or do I need  WFP trolley set up with it ?

Darren could you help me with this, it's something I'm looking to buy ie that clx 22 but them when I go to buy it there are loads of drop down and it's confusing which one to get/choose.

Go for a clx or slx 22 with sill brush,quick lock resi neck and a hose lock connector.
Just got a slx 22 and its miles better than my old pole.

What does it mean when it says choose pole hose

Hand pump sprayer would do you, we use the hozelock 1.25 sprayer, next step up would be a backpack as you can deliver the chems through the brush and scrub then move over to the customers water

The standard pole hose will do you fine, it runs up inside the pole

Cheers Darren, so in theory, get the hose lock  sprayer fill it with viro sol or detergent of your choosing, then get WFP and scrup away. Simple yet effective

So you can attach a back pack sprayer to the pole and feed the chems up to the brush ?  ok I understand it now, never seen those back packs before.

Looking at the back packs on e-bay there's a few  around the £100 mark do you know if these are any good for that price? or a waist of money.

That's pretty much it, maybe get yourself a selection of connectors so you can run off mains water not just the backpack

Do you know of anyone that sells some sort of plastic brillo pad style scrubber that screws onto a wfp for shifting marks that won't shift (very easily) with a brush on fascias like grey water marks etc?
