the screw on goin in to my gardiners brush head is loose so now even if I screw it in it comes out as if the hole is to big , it happened to my last one as well so just wondered if any tips to sort it , was thinking of glue but don't think that would last long

Fill hole with superglue then screw it in.

Are you talking about the screws holding on the socket?
If so get the next size in diameter screw I think gardeners supply No.6 screws get some No.8's
