Well thats a first

Ive had several excuses made for cancellation in my short CC career, tonights is the best.

Had a job booked in for about a week now and was doing tomorrow at 11am, got a text at 7.15pm.

"Very sorry will have to cancel tomorrow as I cant get anyone to look after the dog"

WTF is that all about.

LOL, reply saying "just put it in the garden, I won't be long"

Of course its just an excuse but it would be fun to see how they get around that.

Not a first for me but not a cancellation.

Me: Can I come on Tuesday?

Reply:
Well my friends dog who is staying over for the week will be having use of the lounge and he doesn't like to be moved about.
How long will it be before he can go back in there?

Me: well I don't think it will be a problem ::)roll

Custy: ok then come on Tuesday and I'll put him out in the garden while your here.

Just a typical example of a recent episode where a dog rules the house........ and me thinking WTF? :-\

Going off the jobs over the last few weeks, owners have no control over their dogs!

Gone through shed loads of deodorizer and other doggy related chems!

We even had to scrape hard dog turds off a sofa before cleaning on one job  :o

Went to a job in Winchester a few years ago... Really big house in the posh bit of the posh bit of Winchester......Owner had 3 or 4 long hair Jack Russell type mutts. Upstairs landing was big enough to land a jumbo jet (well it was huge) and piles of dog turd all over the place, in fact it was hard work to walk down the landing without standing in any... "Oh we call this $h1t alley up here, we let them do as they will and then get the cleaners in"

"well not this cleaner" says I doing a swift about turn and clearing off.
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(

I don't blame you hector, even with your cleaning system you still can't polish a turd! Lol

Had another cancellation yesterday for a job I was meant to do today.

Booked last week but was told yesterday that she wanted to cancel as she was on jury service this week.

Surely she would have known last week when she booked that she was on jury service.

Some people ;D

Some people are just not organised I went to a job today where they had not moved one item of furniture I go there 10 mins early and advised them what to move and what I expect to deal with and I sat in the van doing phone calls and texting/annoying mike h. But the next job was a breeze truly well organised not a bean in the room I was trying to make it span out as it was a decent sized lounge and I was looking for the dirt!

You're right, I've done jury service, can't remember exactly but it was either 4 or 6 or 8 weeks notice.
