di twin setup, optimal time to switch first cylinder?
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:14:57 am »
Doing twin di for a while living in flat fed up carrying 25litre bottles down stairs. Filling tap water directly into tank in van then having twin di vessels between pump and hose wheel.

Its all set up ready to go I'm just wondering what would be the optimal time to switch over spent di vessel? Average water quality is 200 ppm, yeah i know  ;D I have a duel inline tds monitor so i can check the water output from both vessels.

Do you wait till first vessel is totally spent and the 2nd one starts creeping just above 1 ppm then switch?

Thanks.

Whenever the first one hits the satuation point. In your case 200PPM

Don't for get to shake. Roll DI's to get more out of em.

I have has another 2000L Out of mine just by rolling it once.
