brick paving

can anyone give me some advice on cleaning a very large brick paving driveway, havnt had much experience using acid yet normally just use just jet wash for patios decking etc. any tips on how to go about it and pricing would be much appreciated  :)

the customer has told me it has to be acid because a pressure washer will blast all the sand away between the block paving, my main business is windows but iv been doin a fair bit of patios and driveways so far this year got an evopwer 275 at the moment really pleased with it... just trying to upload pics of the job

The sand will come out on block paving you price to resand afterwards as for acid not a clue what he's on about you just tell him this is how we do it and this is the price.

He wants you to pour acid on his driveway and not use a pressure washer?!

He will pay i have no worry of that. Definatley cant use a jet wash he wont have it. But dont really want to say no to the job as it could make me some good money

try some hypo on it with a scrub of a deck brush and hit him with big price , if hes not happy with that theres an concrete wash that clover chemicals supply but its pricy enough , either way hit him with a big price

Think im going to go see him tomorrow try and talk him round the more i look into it the more i dont want to go down the hydro road. Itl have to be jet wash or nothing!

If you don't know what RAMS are you'll not be attempting commercials any time soon, Risk Assessment Method Statement. If you cannot pressure wash it then the Kevin Martin method would be best - rotary with high PH then wash down, hypo where needed and more wash down. The customer is always right although this one seems to be a right one
