It works better the other way ,as you are less likely to get air locks and if the pump leaks it will not drip to the crucial wiring if you dont believe me phone williamsons pumps or ask gaz h20

Have you thought about using "O" Rings instead of jubilee clips as fasteners?

Jubilee clips can take lumps out of your hands if you're passing a hose through them and thinking about somethng else.

Shower cutain rings work well on unger poles. Use the C shape ones not the ones with a fastner. They won't slip down past your pole cones either. DAI
