Tecbuk, are they still trading?
« on: June 03, 2014, 08:39:36 am »
Anyone know if Richard from Tecbuk are still trading? I've been trying to buy some brushes for the last few months but still no stock. I love the quality of his  brushes, but the ones I'm using now are so worn that it takes a lot of effort to get good results. I can't hold out much longer and will have to buy elsewhere very soon, but if I knew for sure that his brushes would be back in stock soon, I'd hold out. Anyone any info?

why dont you buy a gardiners brush or two?

the standard SL medium mixed or standard black flocked brushes are awesome mate.good scrubbing power and light.
price higher/work harder!

I don't think so.

Terrible customer service. Been phoning and emailing all the different contact numbers for him and got no reply for many months.

I've moved on to different brushes now.

I'm not going to pay into a business that has such poor customer service. :(

It's a shame as they are good brushes.

That's got to be funny - brushes out of stock !

Wasn't there an issue about someone from the company coming on here incognito and rubbishing other company(ies)?

.............. and insulting those (his customers) who dared to complain that his brushes were too heavy.

The chaps on another forum, persuaded him to make a brush using a carbon fibre brush stock. Nothing ever came of it as far as I know despite the promises. He believes that his brush is the best and can't be improved. Weight is not an issue.

Who of you who use Tecbuk brushes clean a window perfectly with a single pass and no rinsing?

Unfortunately Richard is a great example of the common abbreviation of the name.

But in the interest of balance the DT red Tecbuk is the quickest cleaning brush I have ever used and although slightly heavier than a super light was a dream to use  and can't be beaten of regular maintenance cleans where the window only has a general dust build up or fresh bird strike, it fails to beat a super light in scrubbing power for dried on bird poo and snails trails.

Also as I now spend a lot less time on the glass and the lads prefer super lights the Tecbuk brushes sit around doing very little work ( just like me  ::)roll )

Just sent him another email, if no reply I'm going elsewhere. I'll have to bin the two Sidetracks I bought from him as they only fit his brushes, not cheap either, 20quid each! Not happy!
