White, rubberised, flat roof
« on: May 13, 2014, 10:12:59 pm »
Customer has a flat, white, rubberised roof.
It's got reddish staining, perhaps brick dust, and needs a general clean.
Can anyone recommend anything to clean it please?
That won't damage the waterproofness or look of it...

Ask in the general cleaning section. They'll probably ignore you but someone might have some ideas.

Used to work with that stuff years ago its called Trocal.
Its a coloured rubber bonded to metal.
If you goggle it you should get some info on removing stains and what not to use when
cleaning it.

So, someone in general cleaning put up a wiki.
I read it and came to the conclusion TFR (my favourite) would be fine.
Did a test patch. Fine.
Did a bigger patch, right in front of customers bedroom.
Long & short.
TFR works a treat and I got the job.
Thanks for your inputs boys.
