Have some staining on conny roof, which is clear glass, guess its lead oxide. Anyone know what will get it off?

Not a lot, it's usually etched into the glass if it's that bad,
Best I've tried for hard stains is winsol

Who stocks rub out?

I have Winsol and have been hugely unimpressed with it over the years. Never works for me on anything.

Be really careful. Usually clear glass conny roofs are self cleaning. Anything manly enough to take the lead off will also damage the coating on the glass.

If the stains have been there for a while, they've formed a compound with the glass called lead carbonate and no, it doesn't come off.

Recent stains might to some degree but older ones, nope, and white vinegar won't touch it because the chemical compound is too stable.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.
