Yes, the exact same problem. Even put a new pad on today and the same.  It also loses its grip which is very noticeable when doing stairs.

The older the pad gets the easier it comes off, but yes it is difficult to remove.

Thing is with the pad, you need to wash them.  We did a real stinker of a carpet. Woman used to have dogs carpet 100% wool. Sprayed up the carpet, left to dwell for 10 minutes, then went over with the pad.  The dirt that came up.  The carpet looked new again.  Carpet dog smell went, but all went the pad.

After each clean we do we always wash the pads.  In my opinion the pads work much better than the brush.

Sorry, but I would even think about cleaning a carpet like that with a pad. The dog smell might be covered up by the chemical being put down but will come straight back when it dries because the problem is in the depths of the carpet and not just on the surface.

Our customer service report which was sent to her 14 days later came back all positive.   I have even got referrals from her of which two I'm doing this week!
