I did this last year and i was drinking it faster than it melts lol!

Electric cool boxes only lower the temperature by about 10degrees c which is fine when it's only about 20c but when its 30+ in your van they ain't no good. They also eat batteries, they will flatten an 85amp battery in about 6 hours.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

A cooler box and ice packs will keep them cool over the day.

Electric cool boxes are brill - got one from aldi and use it for camping etc.

Ice packs in an insulated picnic bag are good too.

The cheapest and best is this (as mentioned above)

Get a 2 litre bottle and fill it to 1.5 litres with pre made squash, blackcurrent or what have you. Stick it in the freezer overnight.

In the morning top it up with half a litre of the same mix kept in the fridge.

Headachingly cold for the first drinks of the day and still very cold with a big ol' lump of ice by mid afternoon - bliss.
It's a game of three halves!

It worked in a black tank we had fine, i think it would work well in a normal wydale tank as well :)

Yes, I bought an electric Thermos flask, but for the life of me I don't know where to put the batteries.

Or how to program it.

Somehow though, it still manages to keep my hot drinks hot in the winter and my cold drinks cold in the summer.

Running costs are minimal.

small cooler box with blue ice pack does me.

on really hot days i fill a 2 litre bottle about 2 thirds full with water and orange juice and put it in the freezer overnight.

that way you have an ice cold drink all day! :)
price higher/work harder!
