Lidls home brand limescale products usually do the trick. If that fails then Winsol 550 is quality.

Hammer and chisel or failing that, emery cloth.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Unger Rubout is good for this:

I have tried a number of different products for removing mineral staining, and found this very good and one of the easiest to use. I also found the sorbo powder good, but harder to use.

+1.  Get the foam spray one £3.40 or so at Sainsbury's.  Spray on, leave a minute for minor marking, two minutes if bad, then rinse off with pure.  If not clear, another application will do the business.

I use Cillit Bang Limescale & Shine, with a non scratch scourer if it's really bad.
It's amazing stuff!
