It just so happens i did some today.
What i did, i cleaned top half of sash first then transome bar then rinsed did all of these first.
Then went back to where i started and did the bootom half of sash the rinsed, its a lot of !@><{})ing about but it worked well

Got a few houses with sash windows and never really had a problem using wfp on them.
I clean them the same as any other window
