Ive had both machines and to be honest they are both toys realy !but if you are on a budget I would opt for the sebo

Ive had 2 Sebo Duo's which both lasted about 12 months despite cleaning all the muck out of the brushes ect on a regular basis.

I have a Floormac now which I consider to be a lot better and more versatile as you can do small bonneting jobs with it

I'd love something better but the step up from this to a good CRB machine, you are probably looking at thousands of pounds as compared to hundreds.

Ive had the sebo, does its job ok, then an oreck orbitor, worked even better, great on stairs, but now I mainly use a small rotowash which knocks the spots of both the before mentioned. Bought second hand off ebay, wasnt working but was just a blown capacitor. A quick call to RS components, they matched it up , only cost a few quid, and now I use just that for 90% of work, and the carpet broom for more delicate fibres.
