been looking at this machine and can't get my head around the lpm thing ?
its a lombardini 6LD 400 AND CAT 45 PUMP.
also what oil would you use in the pump as reading it says only cat oils are supposed to be used?

Flow & pressure are relevant to any pressure washer purchase.

The LPM (litres per minute) is the amount of water flow from the pump.

The PSI/bar is the force that it will clean at. Basically how hard it hits the surface.

15LPM would be a starting point on industrial work, in my opinion. Sole operator

211LPM would be a safe bet to clean most things. Sole operator.

If you want a twin operator unit then you need to be looking at a minimum 30LPM and that may be cutting it fine.

I have 40 odd and 35 LPM, both twin operators, the 35 is just too close for comfort sometimes but it makes up for it with user capability

so this lombardini 6ld400 with cat 45 pump would certainly be more than adequate for domestic drive cleaning?
i already have a gx340 with inter pump that i use on all jobs and wanted to add a second  machine on diesel to speed us up a bit.
can't really spend £5k at minute on separate purchase for twin operator setup so thought the lombardini/cat 45 diesel would let me see how 2 ops work out and the performance of the machine is
i got it for £600 all in with 30mtrs of hose and lance etc.

Carl - the only difference between your machine & mine will be that I will be done quicker and I will get a cleaner finish, on an initial pass of the lance. You may go over it a couple of times and there will be some algae etc that won't come off with water alone. Plenty enough for domestic patios etc. My first machine was a 5HP and about one dribble per minute!

Straight 30 ......morris minor/air cooled vw oil. Classic car oil will do
