Hypo substitute

Are there any chemicals that can be used instead of hypo for areas near grass and plants

Percarb but it is not as effective - Defra ok'd me to use it to clean a water mill

Only standard grey paving slabs would need something with a good shelf life as I don't do much pressure washing
