I'm at £1.50 sq/m to retailers on new carpet sprayed in warehouse before fitting. I've been charging that for years so should really increase but its all part of the big picture i.e relationship , recommendations etc.

P.s was using nano for years, no problems but recently gone back to stainshield pro . More expensive but I guess its a confidence thing on my part. I do tweak the dilution ratio to suit though.

Unbelievably at £1.50 the owners of one of the retailers keep looking at ways to cut me out and do it themselves to save money. Fortunately the shop floor staff have said no way, they realise over say 15 plus years they havnt had any problems. Also its the bigger picture I'm there to sort out other problems and give advise which gets them out of a hole. If they want to cut me out to save 70-80p a metre when thy're charging out at £4.50 then I might not be there and jump when they need me. Staff can see that , boss's cant.

£14 seems expensive but what's an average size room ? Protect nano covers 20-40m2 per litre of solution so a lot more economical not used it as i use dry fusion but a lot of people give good feedback on it .

How does protect nano work? Stainshield require 5lt to cover the same area, 5 times as much, why is protect nano type protector only on sale in the uk? I would have thought if it did the same job as conventional protectors but used a fraction of the water it would be on sale in other countries (. But perhaps it is who makes it.?)

I don't know how it works never used i'm just going off feedback i have read from proper pro's i'm sure some will be along soon also why not buy some and try it see for yourself then leave your own feedback.

Phil my question were rhetorical , I would buy some and test it but I would need to buy loads and test it over a significant length of time something that is not feasible.

As for the maths question, a £10/m carpet would not be applicable in this case as it would not be wool at that price.... so protecting it would not be an option

100% wool Berber on ebay £10.95 per m2 would you not protect that ?
