I ran one for 7 years without any grief but if the pump motor interface is worn they can shear keys - I only have one machine with a gearbox, 8 without  :o

They might just about run them when the motor is new - what happens when they get a few hours on them. Never seen those before - are the internals new or just rehashed casings ?

I know you like the petrol Hondas but I really rate these

I know what you are saying ..i like the italian/jap diesels in general.
I want small lightweight mobile units. 250 bar 17 lpm will work 2 x 025 on the whirl-a-way well. 13hp honda is really only 12 hp so we can lose 10% through old age and still have 11 ... it will still be efficient.
Units will weigh in at about 70kgs.We suffer with water pressure round here so feeding anything more becomes a problem. Calculations show that  set up will have the same "cleaning power" as 200bar at 21lpm.

Was that calculated on the same bit of fence that your mate writes his cosh sheets. I've just put my Harben on e bay and get a tired Honda with a 05 nozzle  :'(

"It is just a guide to compare machines (if you take the flow in lpm x Pressure in Bars and divide by 600) this will give you a number to compare machines – It’s not set in concrete but it’s not a bad guide.
However when using HOT  water then things are a bit different – the cleaning power goes up."
