We have done a couple of hard floors recently ( Granwood and Vinyl ) for the first time.
Which method do you find best to apply emulsion polish when sealing, we used a window squeegee on a pole to spread it out and then used a wool paint roller on a pole.
Is their is their any issues doing it this way, their were a few bubbles while it was wet but they went when it dried and, also is their any easier ways of doing it as using a roller gets bloody hard after a while.

Microfibre flat mop.
Put a couple of holes in the lid of the bottle or pour into an old washing up liquid bottle for smaller areas.
Squirt or pour then spread.

That's great, why did I not think of that lol.
I will try that next time.
While you are here, the job we did the other day on a vinyl floor came up well after cleaning but still had a yellow tinge to it in traffic areas like it was discoloured, could we have done anything to remove this or is it a chemical change in the floor. Thanks.

Its probably damage from chemicals or oxidised oils that have bonded to the floor.
have a look at
www.facebook.com/absolutefloorcare
to see some pics of how my guys seal large wood floors.
A like while you are there would be good too

Jamie,
Does that yellowing go all the way through? If not what about the Diamabrush I have used it to great effect on Marmoleum and I know some guys are using it for vinyl.

It is an option Terry.
The biggest problem is that the products that suffer from it the most arent homogenous.
Also it requires a PU coat afterwards to replace the wear layer or it wont last 6 months. A product that isnt widely avalable.
Marmoleum is a different beast entirely as its mainly natural composition.

Of course the vinyl itself isn't necessary the same all the way through and I forgot about the PU coat, how about a plug for the good Doctor!
