Was digital. Went analogue. Best thing I ever did.

DE calibration is easy.

Battery lasts longer.

No built up pressure.

Fine control for solar panel cleaning. Fascia. Etc

I have only ever had an analogue controller. I actually ordered a digital one, but cleaning spot didn't have in stock, so i went for the analogue. Never given me any problems, though the control numpty broke off about 18 months ago. Still works fine!

The current Analogue controller has all the functions of the current digital with the exception that there is no way to show current voltage of the battery and the analogue does not have the low battery cut off over ride.

Also there is No auto calibration feature on the analogue, Calibration is achieved manually using the dial.

The digital will provide you with a little more information than the analogue however some prefer the dial user interface over the buttons.

Not the greatest of articles but it may help you http://www.thehub360.com/analogue-or-digital-controller.html
