Just had to get my caddy done today before I sell it. Cost me £250 all in, including oil and filter change. Pretty happy with that.

That is not a bad price!. I have literally just got in the door after picking mine up again with fresh MOT. Needed some minor stuff, couple of brake hoses, handbrake adjusted, nothing too serious, came to £140 all in, so am happy enough. Just counting down the miles now to 100k, about 120 to go! :)

Correct, i know this because my back door doesn't open from the outside and as i was concerned that it may be a fail, i inquired. They had to look it up, but no, they don't need to get in the back.

My van sailed through last year! 2003 primastar lwb 89000 miles.
Last weekend i dropped the oil out, changed discs and pads then air filter runs like new.
2new tyres and tracking done next and all jobs done until next MOT.
dunno why people have flash cars when a van makes you so much money;)

Here in the emerald isle we have what is known as the DoE test for commercials, or NCT test for cars.

I have a '99 Fiesta van which recently failed on a broken door handle and a split CV gaiter.

Cost of test the is now 124 euros, but the retest was free as the items on which it failed didn't require the use of specialized equipment.

Cost me a tenner for the handle, and about 8 euros for the gaiter, which a friend helped me to fit. Happy days.
