Topic deleted?
« on: January 15, 2014, 01:20:40 pm »
I posted a topic this morning about another forum having issues, I then come on here to see that my topic is no longer here?

Can they admin confirm if it's been taken down or if it's a glitch?

I was in no way advertising it, just talking about problems I was having.

If its been taken down because of mentioning another forum then that's very petty in my opinion.

Wish I'd seen it. I'd love to know about other window cleaning forums that don't work. I though this was the only one!

They always delete topics mentioning other forums.  They don't like the competition   ;D

What competition? There are a few out there with a couple of thousand members and a post rate of 6 or 7 posts per day. Some are useful for gaining knowledge, but others are just dead. This one has rock and roll every day!! Not good enough for some members who don't like "lurkers" or generally get hissy fits and stamp their little foot then storm off. They always come back later and gob off about how everyone's a plonker and this place sucks etc.

The way the forum owners see it is: this forum earns revenue from advertisers. So why allow any other links to other forums on here? I wouldn't advertise other windies in the areas I work.

If anyone thinks they need a new forum, Google it. Simples. ;)

It's as childish as childish can get. Tosh deletes them all the time, say's it's not the proper etiquette. It has got to be the saddest form of numptieness you can ever ever have.

If he is told to do it, I would tell them to get lost.

I'm British Smithie, I'll type that again at your learning speed shall I?

B   r   i   t   i   s   h. I'm married to a German. You seem to have problems with English, so best not to attemp German. It's "Ja" not "ya". I thought in the country you were dragged up in, that there were quite a few goose stepping brown shirts. Bet you've still got yours eh?  ;D ;D

It's turnips like you that take morris dancing lessons at weekends.

Why did you do that ?

I have mental health problems.  :-[  It's good to talk about this kind of thing you know.  It's also not forum etiquette to advertise another forum from a similar forum.

When the site owner has spent cash advertising this forum, it's a bit cheeky for others to jump on the band waggon and advertise another.

Don't you think?

If I'm wrong, I'm not really bothered, but I'll keep on deleting posts that advertise another forum, 'cos as I've said; I've got mental health problems and it's good to talk about that kind of thing.

If anyone has any complaints, contact admin and whine to them.

I'm locking this.
