Waterproofs
« on: April 22, 2014, 04:25:25 pm »
Due to the upcoming summer I'm looking to get waterproof jackets + troosers. I bought in October but they were cheap and nasty and have pretty much all torn. Those that use waterproofs, any recommendations?

Any good? The review on the site is a bit of a worry

sounds stupid but this is the second jacket and trousers I have bought, because I could not believe how bad the first ones were. they leak like a string vest. as did the first set. I am a big fan of Helly Hanson as my hobby is mountaineering. But these although looking great are rubbish. Buy something cheaper and stay dry.

Bit dreich and drizzly up here today but not stotting down so not too bad. We use flexothane classic (breathable) trousers and jackets when its really bad. ARCO or mammoth work wear had them.

If it is wet enough to need waterproof jackets and trousers, i'd be at home ;D
