Lot title: Swansea Bus Station Cleaning
1) Short description
Swansea City Bus Station opened in 2010 and is a state of the art, modern,
light and airy facility which provides a gateway not just to Swansea but
also to the South West Wales region for those arriving by public
transport. The Bus Station comprises of a main concourse for local bus
services which has 20 departure bays which is open from 5.30am to 11.30pm
on Mondays to Saturdays and 8.30 am to 8.30pm on Sundays, and also a
departure lounge for coach services which is open 24 hours a day 7 days
per week. The Bus Station is open to the public on 364 days a year.

The current service is provided by the City and County of Swansea internal
cleaning service.. The final clean of the current cleaning service will be
finishing at 18:00 on 28th February 2014. It is critical that the winning
tenderer is able to commence this contract at 18:00 on the 28th February
2014 (including carrying out the evening clean at 23:30) to ensure
continuity of service.

Lot title: Three Park & Ride and Four Multi-storey Car parks Cleaning
1) Short description
These sites are provided for the use by the public and their vehicles, the
cleaning requirements will be for Public areas, Offices, Toilets and Mess
rooms & kitchen areas, as per the detail contained within the
specification.

The current service will cease operating on the 28th February 2014. It
will be expected that new contract will commence on 1st March 2014 in line
with the scheduled times of the service, as laid out in the specification.
