just starting out. what do i need D.I or RO?

just starting out. what do i need D.I or RO?

hi guys ive just started out inthe window cleaning and already come across a few houses i cant do trad. so i was thinking about getting a WFP but not sure what i need either a D.I or RO ? im in a medium to hard water area ive done abit of research but still not 100% i have seen a few people using 2 D.I vessels would this work or would RO be better?
any help would be great thanks

if you've got hard water you would use a lot of resin if you use just di, which would be expensive. you would be better to use ro and then a di vessel as a final filter. but i'm not an expert on this and you would be better off asking this on the window cleaning forum.

Hi Ant,
My advice would be to get a TDS meter and make a record of the results. It'll test the water - after filtration you want to get as close to under 10 as possible.
If you live in a mid to hard water area - you'll probably need to run it through a RO system first then a DI Vessel.
But take the readings

Our water's between 029 and 036 so whenever we need to make some we just use the DI vessel.
