Do delivery pumps make good booster pumps?
« on: December 21, 2013, 10:46:30 am »
Hi, I'm fitting a 4040RO into my van in new year and using customers water to top up as as I go (its ok I've got permission) I want to get the max output from my RO so was wondering whats the best pump to use that runs on 12volts will a normal delivery pump like a shurflo be enough?

Thanks.

Sure flow used to do a 150 psi version similar looking to standard pole pump

I had very good success with them in a van,

The problem is the flow rate , 100 psi is fine but really you need a higher flow rate for a 4040 .

Best thing is if you have a spare pump to just try it .
