Quick question and personal update.
« on: December 17, 2013, 09:34:31 pm »
Ive fitted my new brass elbow from Gardiners today and thumbs up am back to being leak free  :D
My issue is tho, the previous elbow lasted about 1 year. Can we put this just down to wear n tear, or will a little WD40 every now and again prolong the life?

Today was the first day with my new sill brush, how I went so long with the old one ill never know, although it was still cleaning the glass good enough. Made a 5ft pole for conservatorys out of a old unger pole and the old brush head.

Getting my new van, installing the system and arranging things perfectly has given me a right kick up the backside to get on with work. We have been fully booked for years just not had the motivation to go mental and power work, but finally have got it back. ;D

Couldnt care less if theres thunderstoms tomorrow... we will be out for 8 hours  ;)

You can dismantle the brass elbows with a hex key from inside think it is 14mm.
The rubber O ring inside can be replaced - from memory I think it is 20mm OD by 2.5mm.
You can get a pack on ebay for about £2.50 brass elbow should last a long long time if the seals are replaced
