Paul Moss, Russ Chadd or anyone else (electric sprayer again)
« on: December 10, 2013, 06:38:59 pm »
the window cleaners warehouse one or the ebay one thats been mentioned a few times on here. Cant copy and paste links at the moment as i'm still on a job and using a customers Macbook i have no idea how to use it!!

which is the best in your opinion? going to buy one when i get back in.

also, could i attach my gloria lance (or ideally both hose and lance) to either sprayer? I guess not without modifications but which one would be easier to mod from your experience?

My gloria that i have had good things to say about for 2 years has gone to poo in the space of three weeks! my lance broke at the base, bought a replacement on amazon but its total crap! broke again after two days!, water is peeing out  of the base where the hose joins the tank (tried tightening it with spanner but only a temp fix before p1ssing again) and now the plastic base has detached itself from the metal body and its no easy feet getting it back on having tried 3 times over 3 nights to fix it. Going to gaffa tape it to fxxk later to do me for a few days.

cheers
tony

I purchased the Gardiner one about 6 weeks ago. Seems slightly more robust than wcw one. Fitted a brass Lance and so far have had no problems.

Purchased my one off Ebay after Paul Moss recommended it.. £118 and it comes with a cheap and nasty lance... so i binned that and attached a female quick connect to the end of the hose and adapted a hydroforce lance fitted with a 8003 blue t jet.
So far its been magic, pressure and flow isnt going to blow you away as its only fitted with a small 12v pump, however its easier than using a gloria sprayer and the battery lasts all week.

Ashby's supply these.. but they are a lot more and only carry 5lts...

I don't think he sells a german made sprayer he was just using the german reference as an example of the difference in quality of a german one and the Chinese one he sells.
