How long should resin last?
« on: December 11, 2013, 10:17:39 pm »
hi guys

I have moved to a new house that has a water meter so I have decided to ditch the sell the merlin as it wastes to much water, plus my pressure isn't as good as the old house!! I filled up my di vessel with new resin yesterday and the tds was 238 in and 003 out which im happy to work with until I get another di vessel to double up.
However tonight when I started filling up I checked the tds and it 003, I checked it 25 minutes later and it was 35??? surely after 1 day it should still be low?

Cheers for reading guys.

Mark

Thanks for that but I don't need to know the cost of the resin, what I mean is how long should it filter the water for? you shouldn't have to change the resin daily??

It tells you at the bottom how often you will need to change the resin.

You haven't said what size your vessel is. So it's all guess work for us.

But no you should get more than a day. But tbh over a 100 tds is suicide.
