Morrisons are offering free cleaning ??????
« on: December 09, 2013, 02:27:50 pm »
Hi
After hiring a Rugdoctor machine from Morrissons in ????????ast
Saturday, the machine has left what appear to be streaks and stripes
from the machine. my wife returned it to Morrissons and made a
complaint to the Manager about it, he gave us a refund and suggested
either he let us have another machine f.o.c. or get a quote from a
company such as yourselves to clean them

The carpets are both approx. 12' x 12' or less, can you tell me how
much it would cost for you to clean them please.

When I have your quote I can then present it to Morrissons and they can
tell us how they propose to pay you.

Is it me or am I missing a trick here ????

Dave, I had a similar thing a couple of years ago (Tescos on that occasion).

I got the impression that Tescos were going to be paying the money direct to the claimant. Beware.

I've had this a few times over last couple of years with Morrisons, they seem to pay up but I always get the money first of the customer and let them claim it back.

Thanks Guy's,

I spoke to Morrisons this afternoon  to confirm the claim was true and find out who authorized it,  and guess what its their insurance company. I think your right about the money!

it is surprising that Morrisons would pay out, as it is probably the customer's fault not using the machine correctly, we were called out to correct one a while back the customer had obviously not overlapped hence the lines.
