My system is leak free by the way lol

The wet wood is due to it raining and climbing in and out to sort stuff.

The DI has a very slight leak hence me having in a bucket which has some old scrims in to absorb the water (which is hardly anything)

Off to the weighbridge tomorrow morning, I worked it out and I will be fine, but going just to make sure.

Yeah mate.

I will be getting a bigger one in the new year, where I will have to take out the second floor to allow for the extra weight.

As all my work is on my doorstep, returning home to fill up every day is not an issue at all.

Don't worry you don't have to explain it lol. I kinda get that on here. Someone asks a question and everyone gets so defensive lol.

Looks very smart and nice touch being black.

How do you know they are full. Do you check with lids open. Or have you an overflow.

Are they linked?

Loads of questions I know :p

Yeah youve kinda got to get in to look down the lid to see when full lol
In my old van, you had side doors so it was easy, but like i said will be getting a new tank soon, and yes they are connected.

Im going to fit a length of hose to the back tanks lid, then when I fill up i can simply connect hose from my tap to it, to make life a bit easier.

Got a few other things yet to do aswell

Good stuff mate, keep the pics coming.

I actually think the layout is smart and must be a nice height to reel that hose!!

Keep up the good work.

I used to have a tank you couldn't see through.
I drilled a hole at the bottom and one at the top.
Elbow in each secured with araldyte.
Clear hose from B&Q between the elbows.
You can see how much water you've got by looking at the clear hose level.

My biggest advice would be to maybe look at a custom tank depending on what the weighbridge outcome is.

You could have a tank made to maximise space mate.

Don't be put off by the pictures. He is not expensive.

Other firms do custom tanks as well mate. As you want to save space it will be the best way.

My idea in my combo was to have a tank made that was say 1000x1250x 300mm high or maybe 350. But here was the secret plan ;) I was going to have a cut out made in the bottom of the tank and then the water outlet would have been in that cutout

Kinda like this (side on view) _____     _______
                                                       |__|

The idea was if it was a 300,350,400 tank or whatever. I would actually be able to suck it dry lol. With wydale tanks sometimes you can lose a good 20 - 50 L !!!

Maybe a cheaper option (just an idea) is a set of these under front and rear wheels and you would be able to get the tank near enough empty .... ;)  ;D......
