Extraction cleaning after encap maintainance??
« on: December 04, 2013, 03:00:41 pm »
Hi
I've got a large commercial client who wants a monthly tidy up.
I've recommended an Encap followed by a 6 monthly extraction clean. ?!  we all ready extract this job quite often but the cost of extraction is worrying the accounts department.
Will the Encap cause foaming issues during the extraction.?
If so, will a defoamer be strong enough?
I've never encapped before and don't want to cause problems down the line.
cheers
Jamie

Maybe there is another Jamie with the answer?

What sort of premises/usage. Thorough extraction then 12 monthly would be adequate if you are encapping monthly.
Don't think foam would be an issue, if it was than standard defoamer should suffice.

Depending on the Encap you shouldn't have a problem with it.

You may in fact find you don't need to do the extraction as often as you think or to as big an area as you anticipate.

A more through vacuum every 6 months would be a good idea though.

Thanks John and Jamie
It's a call centre and it's coffee, coke, cake and young people mess. the truck mount eats it but at £500 a pop they're gonna be looking for a more cost affective solution. So I better offer it before the competition does.
Fingers crossed this "encap" is the way forward.
thanks again for your help.
