There is an airflex on Ebay at the moment where it is reported the photos don't match up with the machine.

It states  built in heater. I thought no Airflex had built in heater.

The interior pics are of a Storm  .. straight off  Google images from a suppliers site .

You can have a built in Magma though .

If paying by paypal dispatch will be 21 days? WTF!  Although if paying via paypal i believe you can make a claim for upto 45 days.

The first pic is of a blurry Turbo, the second is the machine I bought from a carpet cleaner in Birmingham, that's one of the pictures he took of the machine I bought when he advertised it on gumtree.

It happens quite often where the seller can not be bothered to take there own photos and upload them and just use images from Google ect instead, so does not always mean it's not legit. Must admit i always worry when the seller has 0% feedback when selling a high ticket item, you should not be able to do it and their should be a limit to what you can sell until you have a sizable positive feedback!

Yeah and that 'bid safely' rubbish don't mean much, a mate of mine bought a dud iphone, sent it back to seller, seller said they never received it despite the fact it was signed for, ebay wouldn't pay up sh*t. He lost his money.

You are safe on e bay if you go pick high end priced stuff up yourself.
I've bought 2 rotaries off e bay..the 2nd one was priced at £360 brand new...travelled down for it and he even knocked me the VAT off when he realised I wasn't registered, got it for £300.
Picking a nearly new Sprite 300 up tomorrow afternoon that I got for £150.

someones just lost over a grande, and just before xmas, this has to be a con because they have no feed back, the photo's are dodgy and if you read the small print, they want paypal only and the item will not be despatched for at least 21 days.

Sadly Derek, I think you are right.

I was the target of an attempted scam on Autotrader (a van that was too good to be true!).

They have a pretty good scam guide. One of the things that was common was the location. It was normally miles away (like a Scottish island or the west of Ireland). If you cannot view the goods, then it's not worth taking a chance.
