Description of the contract:
The awarding authority is inviting tenders for cleaning the office and recreation site toilets at the specified locations.
This will involve:
Providing all cleaning materials except toilet papers and paper hand towels.
management of Health and Safety of your operatives, our staff, and all visitors and users of the office and toilets. This will entail preparing both risk assessments and COSSH assessments for all
chemicals used, reviewing and updating these on a regular basis, and ensuring all agreed controls are being implemented.
Ensuring all waste streams are appropriately processed to maximise our waste minimisation and recycling objectives
keeping records of the amounts and types of all chemicals used and waste processed, to comply with our ISO14001 certification, on 5 days per week.
A commitment to reduce chemical usage by 5% every year
Cleaning services at the office is required to be done outside normal working hours, i.e. after 1800hrs. The service should cover 52 weeks of the year.
Cleaning the Aros park toilets will involve a daily check of the toilets in each morning.
Cleaning the office twice a week - on a Tuesday, and on Friday, or a Monday and Thursday. Additional times may be required on occasion by agreement, these are expected to be infrequent and for
exceptional circumstances only. We anticipate that this service will take in the region of 4.0 hours per week for the office, and 5.0 hours per week for the Aros Park toilets.
