Public liability as a basic.
£1m, £5m, £10m depending what you fancy or what's required by the job.
I've got £5m through A-Plan. It's about £120

I'll be looking to renew my Public Liability in April.
Has anyone on the forum who are insured with GLEAMING INSURANCE ever had to make a claim?
If so were you happy with how the claim was handled?
Im asking because their level of cover sounds very comprehensive, but wanted to know if they are a company who will stand by you in the event of making a claim if the need ever arises?

Iv'e not had to make a claim so can't answer that i do know the cover is with Hiscox but through gleaming. I can say that they don't mess about in the way of answering any queries and i was shocked when i emailed them too ask how much to add gutter cleaning to my policy and the reply was i'm already covered along with a big list of other things i am covered for. Allthough i have a £250 excess on all damage claims.

I'm also with Gleaming. £17 per month too. I've never had to claim (fortunately) but I hear they are good to deal with regarding claims.

If you're underwritten by Hiscox you'll be safe as houses.
My Mrs reckons when she worked in insurance they were the fairest underwriters and paid out more frequently than any of the other providers.
