Vac Motor Upgrade question
« on: November 14, 2013, 07:38:53 pm »
I've got a Rhino extractor currently with two 3 x stage vac motors arranged in series.
If I took them out and replaced them by a single 6.6 motor, would I get more or less power?

You would get less ..

If you have 1200w 5.7s  ,which are there a while ( they all loose power as they age ) then u might be quite impressed by a single 6.6 .

If you have good 1400w lambs then it will be downgrade  ...

The numbers are  ...
130" lift and 139cfm for a single 6.6

Two 1400w lamb 5.7s would be 200" lift and 100cfm

Another option might be the Electro 5.7s  ... if you go to the spares section on Alltecs website they have the Electros for sale now .
You could either copy the Enforcer spec  ... one high powered behind one low powered  .  Or just fit two high powered  , dontt worry about tripping switched etc

Or play around with the 6.6 an see how u like it ...  and two 6.6 in series would work very well if u fit them .
