Description of the contract:
ITT Waterbeach Depot Cleaning Contract
The awarding authority has occupied a newly built depot, for its waste operation, located on the A10 north of Waterbeach and South of Chittering. More information on South Cambridgeshire District
Council can be found at
www.scambs.gov.uk The awarding authority now seeks to obtain value for money building cleaning services at the new depot. For the avoidance of doubt this contract does not include any other premises owned or occupied
by SCDC.
Cleaning is undertaken from 4pm onwards Monday to Friday and the person appointed must be a regular attendee so that a relationship can be established as the depot keys would be issued to the
successful tenderer who would be responsible for setting the alarm, locking the building as well as yard and external gates in service road. As such persons engaged on this contract may be required to
provide personal details for security clearance.
This Contract term is for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for each and every year for a further 2 year term. A 3 month break clause will be inserted in to the contract allowing either
party to give 3 months written notice without prejudice.
