hard floors.

don't want to be using me truckmount for hard floors so was wondering which portable would be best for rinsing hardfloor slurrey?

Got a budget of £3000, needs to be rugged and handle slurrey with a good psi for rinsing. suction secondary as most hard floors are easy to extract with a gekko i would guess.

oh and a foot print no bigger than 58cm by 75cm.

Quite a few offer 800psi pumps  ...

If higher pressure is desirable  the Mytee LTD12  from woodbridge has a high flow 1000psi general pump and has autofill / pumpout as standard .

Alltec offers a 1200 pumptec in both the Advance + the plastic elite .

Another option perhaps  ...  the portable of your choice + one of these pumps alongside ..

Johns idea is a good one and cost effective. I know a few hard floor guys who have gone down this route linking an electric pressure washer to a spinner tool or wand and using an auto pump out wet vac as suction. Should cost well less than a grand.

If you aren't going to be using a spinner tool there is no need for having a 500psi + machine or power washer.

The power washer route is a great way of getting into tile & grout cleaning and its one we still use on certain projects in place of our Hydroforce Olympus/Alltec Elite. You need to make sure the pressure is adjustable though as on softer floors you will blow the pores.

Remember your rotary will do most of the work on most jobs.

I have a couple for sale on behalf of customers that may work.

I will run them with our Gekko tomorrow and see if they have decent enough spec.

We often just use a wet vac when doing marble polishing etc with a good rinse and vac between grades of powders/pads.

I just used my rotary to do most of the work and brought a wet / dry vac to suck up the slurry as i didn't want to use my portable.  Wet / dry vac cost me £230 from A3 machines in Shropshire.

A quick question then, when rinsing what do you rinse with if you're just using a wet vac?
