Wet day here so looking to do something constructive

If i put all areas big and small onto my website at footer of a page am i likely to get more links from people looking for window cleaners in that area

for example if i put-

we clean windows in - reading, oxford, slough, Bracknell, Basingstoke

ps- i dont clean windows in this area so local windies relax :)

I had my site optimised on www.fiverr.com everything on there costs just five $ for 5$ i got i think 10 pages optimised. I also have had videos done leaflets ect all for 5$. I really cant rate that site high enough. Oh yeah, and my website www.filthywindows.com only cost, you guessed it $5.00 my site was only optimised last week but since then ive added a news page which goes to a blog which ive optimised. Also you need to do backlinks where you, for instance create a youtube channel, ive called mine Bedford Window Cleaning and i plane to put weekly videos on and use correct keywords. it only needs to be 60 seconds or so but it will push yu right up on google. Im looking at getting in the top 5 on google within 8 weeks.

Try adding your keywords to your page titles, as well as your meta tags, on-page text, image ALT tags, file/url names etc etc. Page titles seem to have a bigger impact than most places I've found.

LOL - it is a bit head-wrecking when you first start at it,.. but I reckon anyone can learn the basics of SEO. Drop me an e-mail at info@avondhu-internet.com if you want & I'll give you a few tips for your site.

Remember though that SEO is not about trickery, google will eventually cop on to all the new "tricks" & they'll suddenly stop working - - but if you're honest with your SEO then you should see long term results.

It is however completely possible to have a website with perfect SEO that still doesn't generate any new business - - you have to design a site for people, not just for google, and having an attractive, easy to navigate & easy to understand site should be no 1 priority,.. as the SEO can be slipped in afterwards easy enough.

Try adding your keywords to your page titles, as well as your meta tags, on-page text, image ALT tags, file/url names etc etc. Page titles seem to have a bigger impact than most places I've found.

I have 3 websites and have taught myself SEO over the last 10 years. It is relatively straight forward for the marketplace in which we work. It is not über competitive, we are not competing with mcdonalds, nike or apple. Nor are we offering SEO which is a hugely competitive market. If you are a window cleaner covering a normal area i.e. one or two towns, you should get on page one of Google EASILY. Take a couple of hours on a Saturday once a month to read about SEO and tweak your site, you should hit page one rank one quite quickly.

You might what to download this and read through it. It sort Google seo rule book for beginner's. There is a lot of miss information and outdated information out there. Seo is an on going commitment that needs to be done often.
