[Deep Cleaning Solutions]

I am the first to admit that i'm not keen on cleaning high end natural fibre upholstery. I normally price my self out or turn the job down if any alarm bells start ringing and I have probably been too over cautious with this type of job.

So when I received these photos of some chairs that they want cleaning I thought I would ask on here.
The customer says they have tried cleaning them and it looks like this has caused water mark damage, are these beyond cleaning and the water marks permanent as I suspect. I have not been to view them so do not know the exact types of fibre.

If I was presented them to clean, it would be on a no fault clean, and i would get it signed, then I would use Chemspec Hattian Cotton Cleaner, it would normally take all the watermarks out, but no guarantee.

Yep same here, Haitian Cotton Cleaner. Take plenty of good quality photos before you start and put in writing the condition and that you will try to rectify the damage already caused but can't guarantee results.

Using the mentioned product... is it possible it could trigger an indicator dye?

I have corrected exactly this on horsehair stuffed fabric. As suggested Haitian Cotton Cleaner. Unfortunately they no longer do the shampoo variant which would have been perfect. Russ its most likely all cotton construction so indicator dye wouldnt be a major consideration at the pH level of Haitian Cotton Cleaner.

Am I correct that Haitian Powdered Cotton Cleaner is a Ph 4?

Looking at the spec sheet of Haitian cotton cleaner its a shampoo with a reducing bleach added, might be worth applying Prochem browning  prescription, rinsing it through with fabric rinse, the misting spray & go on it.

Or even go to the other end of the spectrum & use a Prochem fibre shampoo + fibrebuff + oxibrite application

i have had very similar and have used all the chemicals and procedures that have been mentioned ,you will improve but i would be astonished if you could totally remove this soiling

No that's still available, its the Haitian Shampoo which was discontinued.

I had quite a good result with an antique chair with a water mark using Final Phase mixed for browning treatment, allowed to dwell for 15 min's and this had made a great improvement but still visible so over sprayed with M-Power spotter which just about got rid of the rest. I didn't have any Haitian Cotton Cleaner and would have used this if i had it but did not have time and it was a freebie for my parents who were putting this chair into an auction.
