I know this has been talked about a lot but I can't find any of the old links. I am looking for a remote controller for a 25ltr a minute pump, I think its 28amp

Most of the Radio remotes units available on 12V DC are capable of handling 10 - 12amps.

So your pentaflex pulling a maximum potential current of up to 27 amps will create problems, The issue is the inductive load across the remote relay as the pumped is switched can be high.

What is possible with some of the current kit available would be to purchase a 12V radio remote similar to the One shot stand alone.
You would need a higher capacity relay of up to 30 amps. This 30 amp relay would then handle the current form the pentaflex and inductive load.

In effect you would have a 10am relay switching a larger 30amp relay that inturn switches the pump. Be aware this solution would only allow you to stop/start the pump and not give flow control over the pump.

The 27 amps on the pump is its maximum possible current draw in all honesty it is unlikely to draw that amount of current in most cases.
